Hi, my name is Rebecca. Thank you for taking the time to explore my page!
Perhaps you’ve spent years trying to be “perfect” or to feel "good enough" ~ a good enough partner, student, parent, sibling, child, etc. ~ and yet good enough never feels enough. You could be the person constantly taking care of others where you don’t know what it’s like to tend to your own needs. Or perhaps you’ve grown accustomed to hearing that you’re “too sensitive” or “emotional” where you’ve wondered why you feel things so strongly in comparison to others. Maybe you’ve even masked that part of yourself, replacing emotionality with stoicism. Or maybe you've endured trauma and don’t know where to begin to heal.
You could feel like whatever has led you to read this isn’t a “good enough” reason to seek therapy or that your concerns are not worthy of another person’s time. No matter the reason, whatever brought you to this page is valid. Anything that is negatively impacting you matters to me. Whether shame, stress, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, transitions, or other traumas and life struggles have taken hold, I will meet you where you are and walk alongside you on your journey.
